I don’t understand how people can be so cr.u.el to this horse!
When this horse was discovered, it was in a te.rr.ible state, and a dishonest and insensitive person a.ban.doned it. They only saw a horse trailer being pulled by a dark truck, with a gray minibus beside it, according to witnesses.
The horse has num.ero.us open wo.unds on its body and seemed de.spe.rate!
César Garcán and his son found the horse near Grayson Street in Modesto, California, USA. They immediately dialed Bobbie Carne’s number. For the past two decades, he has been rescuing and assisting all types of pets. Carne had witnessed terri.ble things happen to animals, but despite this, he couldn’t believe what he was witnessing.
The horse was not only st.arv.ed, but also sev.erely in.jur.ed, with signs of being lo.c.ked up, bea.ten, and even dr.ag.ged away on his face and flanks.
Another man who witnessed the incident filmed it and returned with a double-decker trailer. River was lifted to his feet, loaded into a trailer, and driven to the Taylor Vet Healthcare Facility in Turlock. River’s injuries were tre.ated and cared for by Dr. Rebecca Curry at a steady but balanced pace, as feeding too quickly could sh.o.ck the animal.
Many people were ou.tra.ged by River’s abu.ser and grateful to the kind people who rescued the horse!
River has recovered gradually. River will be cared for by a woman who currently owns two rescue horses after the horse’s veterinary tre.atment is completed.
River Maximus is the horse’s current name, which represents the horse’s inner strength thus far.
River has recovered and appears to be in good health, with a shiny coat and a happy life in his new home.
What a wonderful and spectacular transformation. River, you brave horse!!!!
