There are whispers that Bayern Munich and Manchester City’s defender Kyle Walker have reached a personal agreement on his future with the club.

The 33-year-old player has enjoyed a fantastic six seasons at the Etihad Stadium, during which he has won five Premier League titles and most recently the Champions League.

However, rumors concerning his future in Manchester began only a few months ago, when the defender declared he was “gutted” to be left out of the final. This prompted people to speculate about his plans for the future in Manchester.

According to The Athletic, Walker has reportedly given a verbal agreement to join the Bundesliga heavyweights Bayern Munich during the summer transfer window.

The two teams are going to try to negotiate a price for the England international, as the report indicates that they will do immediately.

It has been reported that City are unwilling to budge from their asking price of £15 million for the full-back, despite the fact that he has just one year left on his contract at the Etihad.

Thomas Tuchel is rumored to be the driving force behind the pursuit of Kyle Walker, whose current contract with City is set to expire in the summer of 2019.

There was some interest on the part of Sheffield United in bringing Walker back to Yorkshire, but a move to Munich would enable him to continue playing in the Champions League next season.

Since signing from Tottenham in 2016, Walker has played a total of 254 games and won 12 trophies. These include the Premier League, Champions League, and the other five Premier Leagues.

In addition, he has provided Pep Guardiola’s record-breaking team with six goals and 18 assists during the course of this time span.

In the previous season, 2022/23, when City won a historic triple, he played in 39 games for the club; nonetheless, he was occasionally benched for important games such as the final of the UCL.

It has been stated that Bayern Munich is willing to trade Sadio Mane for a fee of only £17 million this summer in order to gather financial resources for the purpose of purchasing Tottenham striker Harry Kane.

Mane is one of seven Bayern players who are on the verge of being released from the club. Mane moved to Bayern Munich from Liverpool last summer for a transfer fee of 35 million pounds.

The multiple-time Bundesliga winners intended to make an offer to bring Harry Kane to the Allianz Arena this week for approximately £70 million. They wanted to take advantage of the fact that the Spurs superstar’s current contract will expire in the summer of 2019, at which point he will be eligible for free agency.

However, according to a report published by Mail Sport on Monday, Tottenham is planning to turn down Bayern’s second offer and has reportedly set its asking price for the England captain at £120 million.
