The striker for Milan, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, recently posted a photo on Instagram of himself recovering from an injury while sporting a hairstyle that was disturbingly similar to the ‘viking’ style that Erling Haaland had.
WHAT HAPPENED IN THE END?After participating in the international break, the striker for Manchester City returned to the pitch sporting a set of braids in his hair, which gave him the image of a Norse warrior. Ibrahimovic, who is now recuperating from knee surgery that he underwent back in May, published a story on Instagram in which his hair was done up in a style that was fairly similar to that which was shown in the photo that was placed above.
THE BIG PICTURE: Aside from his new look, the social media post is evidence of Ibrahimovic’s hard journey to recovery. This comes after it was announced in early December that the Sweden international had returned to training with Milan. His team is now chasing their second consecutive Scudetto in Serie A and is currently five points behind the league leaders Napoli.
WHAT DOES THE FUTURE HOLD FOR IBRAHIMOVIC?The experienced striker will hope to play for Milan during the second half of the season, which will provide Milan with strength in depth up front during the business end of the season. Although there is no precise date announced for his comeback, the veteran striker has played for Milan in the past.
